 "Lotos Co" Ltd began to buy
and was engaged in wholesale of fish products in 1997. In May 1997 we was opened filial in
Moscow for wholesale of fish products. For products transportation from the fishery our
company bought reception-transportation ship named by "Kolonok", 2 bulk fishing
ship and 4 cuttery at December, 1998. In January 1999 for the same aims a tow steam-ship
and a barge-platform were bought.
At June,
1999 our company got refrigerator complex of Volodarsky fishing factory with all adjoined
buildings and equipment, ice-producting factory. We also signed contracts with collective
farms "Pobeda", "Leninskii Put", "XX Partsjezd" from
Volodarsky area, with collective farm "Rassvet" from Narimanov area for the
period of autumn-spring of 1999-2000 years. By these contracts "Lotos Co"
Ltd got primary rights for fishy raw materials that producted by farms' fishers.
Our
Volumes of products without NDS (The tax for added cost) were in 1997 1 889 000 roubles,
in 1998 - 5 271 000 roubles, by the first half of 1999 - 3 303 000 roubles. Expected
volume of products in 1999 is 8 500 000 roubles. Own production (fleet, refreigerator,
ice-factory) allows to reduce cost of products, to plan products' volume and volumes of
wholesale.
In 1999
we expanded assortment of fishing products to 50 names, some of them are produced in
Astrakhan only by our company, and we have exclusive rights to produce fishes made with
head without scales, designed by Caspian fishing techno centre by our request. The
conformity of our products to all demanded standards was repeatedly confirmed by Moscow
state inspection of qualities.
At
August, 1999, we bought vacuum unit, electronic weighs for producing the fish in vaccum
packing. So our company develops as by increasing the volumes of products as by expanding
assortment.
In May 2000 our firm opened a
representation in Volgograd-city. Filial have very big assortiment of products of
Caspian fish.
